The social programme includes the conference dinner at a landmark location in Sintra, on Tuesday, and an organised Sintra Afternoon, on Wednesday, to allow for more informal social interaction amongst the Conference participants and some sightseeing of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra (listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO).
